Susan Armitage

Susan Armitage, MDiv., RP, RMFT has a Masters of Divinity degree with a major in counselling from Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto. She is a clinical member of the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (#2017724) and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#004511).


Susan is a  Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS) through the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). She has developed an anger management program specifically for couples, and for individuals who are in a relationship.


This program is based on her book, Over the Walls of Anger, Into Each Other’s Arms: Managing Anger Through the Lens of Attachment Theory. Susan works with individual adults and youth, couples, and families on building emotional connections, reducing anxiety and panic disorder, coping with depression, and she has a particular focus on abuse and trauma recovery and its effect on controlling anger.
