Lindy Jurado


Lindy has completed her Master of Divinity degree with a major in Marriage and Family Therapy at Tyndale University.


With over 23 years of experience counselling, teaching, and mentoring teens, single adults, and couples, Lindy has developed foundational competencies of compassion, empathy, presence, patience, listening, and practical care. Lindy has extensive experience facilitating workshops and group discussions on spiritual care, addictions, and betrayal trauma. Lindy believes in an experiential, holistic approach in the therapy room.


To create the ideal treatment plan for your unique needs, she integrates therapeutic modalities such as Family Systems Therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy), EFIT & EFCT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy).


Lindy holds certification in Couples and Addiction Recovery from the Gottman Institute. 


Lindy also has completed training in the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model through APSATS (The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists) and can provide informed care and counselling related to the experience of betrayal trauma.
