Josh is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a bachelor's in Psychology and a master's degree in Clinical Counselling.

He has been practicing psychotherapy with young-, middle-, and senior-aged adults since 2022. Previously, Josh spent five years providing non-clinical counselling and education to university students of all ages, stages, and demographics for managing life, stress and careers.

Josh uses an eclectic approach to counselling and psychotherapy, combining multiple therapy models and techniques to create a personalized treatment plan for clients. He uses a combination of Internal Family Systems therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural therapy, Dialectical Behavioural therapy, as well as Mindfulness exercises.

His approach is effective for treating a diverse range of issues, but his eclectic approach is especially useful for issues and symptoms associated with mood disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, obsession, sleep issues), trauma, emotional distress, hopelessness, burnout, work stress, life transitions, and family of origin issues.

In his personal life, Josh is an avid reader who also enjoys organizing social events for friends and local communities. His most recent passion is for hosting tabletop roleplaying games, where he gathers groups of friends to build collaborative stories of drama, suspense, horror, and comedy. He is also deeply fond of coffee, culture, and enjoying nature wherever he can.
