Associate member with CMFT (Canadian Association of Family and Marriage Therapy) #2017445Registered Psychotherapist (#007473), and Associate Member of the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) (2017445), Julie has considerable experience working with clients who are in need of anger management, couples, or individual therapy. Julie helps couples connect with each other by teaching them the skills to create an emotionally safe environment in which to express their needs.


Julie employs an integrative approach which may incorporate one or more modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused and Family Systems approaches. Upon your request, she can also integrate her clients’ faith beliefs into their personalized treatment plan.


Before becoming a therapist, Julie worked as a pastor for ten years. She provided spiritual counselling to families, youth, children and individuals within her culturally diverse community. Her passion for supporting clients through their most difficult time fuels her tenacity to help her clients reach their therapeutic goals.


Besides being a therapist, Julie works hard at being a supportive wife and a loving mother. She believes it is a great privilege to raise smart, kind and resilient children. Julie knows the struggle of balancing faith, family, and career. She doesn’t always get the right balance, but she makes sure to have guardrails in place to help her stay on track.
